For The People Services LLC and/or the LDA cannot give any advice, explanation, opinion, or recommendation regarding the selection of forms.
If you need additional services, such as legal representation, then you require the services of an attorney.

A FREE 10-minute call can be scheduled after the completion of the above INTAKE FORM. This appointment will determine if an LDA can provide you with the services you are requesting.
If more time is needed to discuss your matter, there is a $40 fee for a half-hour (30-minutes) call (by phone or video) which can be credited towards the document preparation services being requested.*
With this appointment, self-help materials relevant to your subject matter will be provided to help guide you through the process.

An LDA is short for a Legal Document Assistant.
A Legal Document Assistant is a Bonded & Registered non-attorney professional who provides, or assists in providing, or offers to provide, or offers to assist in providing, for compensation, any self-help service to a member of the public who is representing themselves in a legal matter.
Working with a Legal Document Assistant is a collaborative process. Services are provided to those who know what documents they need prepared for their specific situation.
Gather Information, Prepare Documents, Sign Documents, File & Serve Documents
Our service includes the preparation and assembly of the documents requested. Court filings and Service of Process are available for an additional fee. Regular updates will be provided as your order progresses. Professional legal document preparation will be provided at your specific direction.
FLAT FEE SERVICE:
We charge a flat fee for services. Standard itemized services include:
Yes. An LDA is registered and bonded with the county they work in. They provide document preparation services to self-represented individuals at the specific direction of that self-represented individual.
A Paralegal can only work under the direct supervision of an active attorney. A Paralegal is not registered or bonded. (There are many Paralegals who are also registered & bonded as LDAs)
No. An LDA is only allowed to help prepare legal documents at your specific direction. An LDA cannot provide legal advice or represent anyone in court.

A: No. We do not guarantee the outcome of any case. Once you agree to the final draft of the documents requested, there is no refund for service.
